Top daytraders have the discipline to follow their daytrading system rigorously, because they know that only the trades that are signaled by their system have a greater rate of success. You must believe in yourself when day trading. Day trading can be one of the safest forms of trading. A study in 1999 found that those day traders that made money the profits were made from just one trade.
Does day-trading offer advantages above and beyond position trading? If you have an account which gets classified as a "Pattern Day Trader Account", it will require a minimum liquidating equity of $25,000. Trading successfully requires time, market knowledge and market understanding. Day traders use only risk capital, which they can afford to lose.
